Mitsubishi launches new forklift trucks

Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks (Mitsubishi) has introduced its new line of mid-size Internal Combustion

It is offered in five capacities, ranging from 8,000-12,000 lbs and are designed for heavy-duty applications, such as lumber, cement and pipe.

According to Mitsubishi, several new product enhancements will also be offered to customers as part of the existing Class 4 and 5 product lines.

The Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks product line offers a new Internal Combustion (IC) Pneumatic Tire Forklifts, including a FG40N - FG55N LP Gas (capacity: 8,000-12,000 lb) and FD40N - FD55N Diesel (capacity: 8,000-12,000 lb). It features: heavy handling which allows for use in outdoor environments and rough surface conditions; two speed forward and one speed reverse transmission; spacious operator compartment; Engine Protection System (EPS); and options including ground speed limit, air intake pre-cleaner, wide load backrests, side shifters and panel cab.

The product enhancements offered is IC Cushion Tire Forklift which includes FGC15N - FGC33N (capacity: 3,000-6,500 lb). It offers: an optimal travel and the lift speeds, new digital display, enhanced fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and responsive acceleration, envirO2 engines featuring low CARB and EPA emissions and other options including a swing-down LP tank bracket, full suspension seat, foot directional controls, orange seat belt and application packages.

In addition, the other product enhancements include IC Pneumatic Tire Forklift (capacity: 3,000-7,000 lb), which includes FG15N - FG35N / FD20N - FD35N. It offers an Integrated Presence System (IPS) and a new LCD/LED display panel with operator passcode protection and key indicators for fluid, fuel levels and travel direction.
