The graph above shows the sterling v Australian dollar exchange rate by day, from 2 January 1975 to 9 December 2011. As this graph demonstrates, the pound has generally weakened against the Australian dollar over the past ten years, with the past year’s annual change being 4.06 per cent. As of today, £1 is equal to A$1.55.
