1 Does art make a difference?

Yes, for people who love it. Whether it’s drawing pictures or producing music, I’ve always studied the kings before me and it definitely made a difference.

2 Should politics and art mix?

If it’s for the good of the country, yes. We should explore every avenue for reaching people’s minds.

3 Is your work for the many or for the few?

For the many. Music is one of the best art forms in the world. It can make you feel every emotion there is to feel. I write my songs when I’m at a party or on a train, because having a lot of different people around makes you think about how you can talk to everybody at once.

4 If you were world leader, what would be your first law?

Asthma pumps should be available over the counter. It’s long having to go to the doctor’s every time you need a new one.

5 Who would be your top advisers?

My brother JME, because when I don’t listen to him he says, “I told you so.” Simon Cowell, because he’s not scared to speak his mind. Anne Robinson, just so I could sack her after a week and make her do the walk of shame: “Anne, you are the weakest link – goodbye.”

6 What, if anything, would you censor?

I would censor every programme, song or any form of art that promotes young sexual activities. Too many kids know about make-up, condoms and pregnancy too early.

7 If you had to banish one public figure, who would it be?

I would love to say, but we all know what happens to outspoken people.

8 What are the rules that you live by?

Respect other views, religions and opinions.

9 Do you love your country?

In some ways. It’s a semi-civilised country, but a lot of bad things have happened for it to be the way it is.

10 Are we all doomed?

The world cannot be repaired but it can be helped. I try to make people aware of what’s going on around us socially and politically. I guarantee the world will get better after my album is released.
