That this house recognises the immediate need for the NHS to emphasise health promotion rather than sickness relief; with an understanding that local treatment centres and practices should be encouraged to grow, in a direction that combines nurse/doctor practices, sports facilities and centres of nutritional food and shopping, which will reduce the nation’s mentality that a tablet can cure all ailments and problems that could well be prevented from developing.
