Simon Loxham is IPC Digital's product director

Loxham was previously the head of the web technology for IPC Southbank.

IPC Media has announced that it has promoted Simon Loxham as the new product director of its web technology division IPC Digital.

Kelly Waters, the UK-based consumer magazine and digital publisher's web technology director, announced the news on Tuesday.

Loxham was previously the head of the web technology for IPC Southbank, the publisher's fashion, women's lifestyle and home interest division, and IPC Connect, its women's entertainment division.

In his new role, Loxham will retain his current responsibilities and in addition will be responsible for IPC Digital's commercial solutions team. He will also manage the men's interest websites of IPC Inspire.

Waters credited Loxham for the transformation of IPC's fashion, home décor and women's interests, especially www.goodtoknow.co.uk, and for contributing to the publisher's online growth.

The promotion will ensure that all of IPC Media's brand technology teams will benefit from Loxham's experience, Waters said.
