On Tuesday an investigation by the Rail Accident Investigation Branch into an incident on 10 June last year said drivers should be given "familiarity inductions" to Tube stations, so they are accustomed to their surroundings.

The RAIB report said: "The immediate cause of the incident was that the driver entered the incorrect cab on joining the train and drove it in the wrong direction from Camden Town station."

Understanding bishop

The Eastern Daily Press apologised after printing a letter from Rupert Read of the Eastern Region Green Party calling for brothels to be closed following the Ipswich murders saying: "Surely that is the best memorial to the women who died at the hands of Steve Wright (pictured)." The paper printed a picture of the Bishop of Norwich with his dog collar clearly visible, instead of Wright. Its apology said: "We would like to thank Bishop Graham for his understanding."
