  • 1 Does art make a difference?
  • While we are still in the womb, or on our deathbed, the arts make a difference. We can experience art in our own home or in the most extraordinary ornate building – there are no limits, just our imagination.
  • 2 Should politics and art mix?
  • It is essential they do mix, as art is a voice for the people and it can be a powerful tool for communication where the spoken word can often be the barrier.
  • 3 Is your work for the many or for the few?
  • In the technological world we now live in, we cannot help but reach the masses. People connect to my work in different ways according to their own personal journey, therefore I know at some stage in their lives they will have a connection to what I do.
  • 4 If you were world leader, what would be your first law?
  • Have a lifelong driving ban for all people caught driving over the alcohol limit. No exceptions.
  • 5 Who would be your top advisers?
  • The people of Planet Earth. My advisers are out there every moment of every day and it’s just a case of whether I choose to open my senses up to “listen” to them. I won’t discard my gut instinct.
  • 6What, if anything, would you censor?
  • Our stupidity in creating horrible conflicts with each other around the world. The human race is truly incredible and yet we waste so much energy and resources in destroying so much.
  • 7 If you had to banish one public figure, who would it be?
  • Rather than picking people to banish, which is a rather frightening thought, I would prefer to think of things that I would like people to banish from doing in their lives.
  • 8 What are the rules that you live by?
  • Make a difference – with that motto tattooed on my forehead, it’s amazing how exciting life really is.
  • 9 Do you love your country?
  • Yes! I love my country, my continent and my planet.
  • 10 Are we all doomed?
  • Our little hearts are going to stop beating at some point, but thankfully new little hearts will emerge.
