Where were you?

Five things you might have missed last week

1. One hump or two?

Camel milk is being marketed as a health drink in India to reverse the fortunes of Rajasthan's camel breeders. The milk contains three times the vitamin C of cows milk and has also been turned into saffron-pistachio ice cream.

2. Gobsmacking

Four lip-shaped urinals removed from a public toilet in Vienna have been sold on ebay. They were dismantled by their original owner after women's rights groups complained that the urinals - featuring brightly painted lips, a red tongue and gleaming teeth - were misogynist.

3. Paper blunts scissors . . .

The top 500 rock, paper, scissors competitors battled it out in Toronto at the annual RPS world championships. The organisers praised Canada as an appropriately "safe, hospitable and utterly inoffensive nation" to host a game of conflict resolution.

4. Charming

A drunk driver, stopped by police in Darwin, Australia, ran from his car and armed himself with a live snake that had been lying on the road. According to police, he threatened them with the snake's head before trying to escape into the bush.

5. Lucky for some

It's official: thirteen is the unluckiest ball in the National Lottery. According to organisers Camelot, in 12 years, the ball has come up only 132 times.
