Where were you?

Five things you might have missed last week

1. Borat for president

Spoof journalist Borat was briefly elevated to president of Kazakhstan on Wikipedia, the online encyclopaedia, before the site stepped in and demoted him. Web vandals also changed the opening of the country's national anthem to: "Kazakhstan greatest country in the world/All other countries are run by little girls."

2. Framed

Police in India were confronted by hundreds of villagers when they tried to arrest a three-month-old boy for robbery. Police conceded that the boy, Praven, may have been named by someone "with a malicious intent".

3. Equality at last

The men's equivalent of the Wonderbra, imaginatively called the "wondercup", has arrived. Designed to make the most of a man's natural attributes, the briefs "lift, separate and extend" says their creator, Sean Ash.

4. Free as a bird

Britain's prison fences will be painted green to prevent inmates "feeling trapped". Prison governors worry that the old white and grey fences make criminals claustrophobic.

5. Toilet art

Police have seized a toilet that plays Italy's national anthem when it flushes from the Bolzano Museum of Modern Art. Prosecutors claim the work damages an emblem of national pride.
