Redesigned New Statesman wins at Magazine Design and Journalism Awards

The redesigned New Statesman landed more awards than any other publication at this year's Magazine Design and Journalism Awards.

Political editor Martin Bright won Exclusive of the Year, Andrew Billen took Review of the Year and Peter Wilby was Highly Commended in the Columnist of the Year category.

In the magazine design awards we won Consumer Front Cover of the Year and Best Use of Typography.

New Statesman editor John Kampfner said: "The awards mark the critical success of the magazine, which has gone hand in hand with sales success, now at a 25 year high. On the 16th November we'll be launching a brand new website to match our redesigned magazine, and we fully intend to make our online presence as strong as in print."
