This week we devote most of the current affairs section to 7/7 and its aftermath. We have a series of exclusives and brilliant insights.
Here are just a few of them to whet your appetite:
Shiv Malik reveals the university application form where the suicide bomber Shazad Tanweer described himself as a "hard-working... friendly... determined" young man. Just five years later he set off a bomb near Aldgate station. Martin Bright comes up with another of his Whitehall documents scoops, this time showing how the Foreign Office manipulated the task force on extremism that was set up to respond to the bombings. Zaki Chehab gives an inside account of the reasons why Osama Bin Laden continues to outwit the west.
Also look at a piece by Alice O’Keeffe, our Arts Editor, who also happened to be one of the bombed trains. She argues that we should celebrate resilience and move on, rather than indulging in debilitating victimhood.
Elsewhere, we have great columns, including a hilarious Neighbours from Hell. Julian Clary is at his best... and we have a beautifully-crafted piece on Kandinsky leading the arts section.
I hope you enjoy and appreciate the mix.
