Win vouchers to spend in any Tesco store

Competition No 3927

Set by Dean Juniper, 17 April

We asked you how various papers would deal with Condoleezza Rice's pregnancy.

I see I made a mistake in last week's report. Peter Thursfield didn't win at his first attempt, but at his second. Still . . . not bad. I also see, looking back, that I have welcomed a couple of newcomers on two separate occasions. Senior moments, my dears, senior moments. And hello to newbies Edd Major, Fenix Green, Kevin Smith, Paul Holland, Malcolm Morrison, Gwen Averley, Nick Butler, David Hicks, Mark Rivkin, Paul Kelly, Mark Day, Jennifer Exley, T J R Willis ("Also I am new to

competition"), Ian Taylor and Ray Brown.

This week's winners get the usual £20 each, with the Tesco vouchers going, in addition, to the aforementioned Edd Major, as top dog. Hon menshes this week for Michael Birt's Sun ("'Nothing between us!' says Jack"), Paul Kelly's Daily Telegraph ("Rice to have child by British MP - 'I'm not the father,' says Boris Johnson!"), D A Prince's Daily Mirror ("Name that babe - let our readers decide") and Peter Thursfield's Financial Times ("Mandelson raises tariffs on cereal imports"). Ha!

Now that news of John Prescott and his secretary has broken, could we see examples from readers of the love poems that he wrote to woo her?
