Three [trainspotters] were stopped and searched under the Prevention of Terrorism Act while spotting and taking photographs of trains at Basingstoke station.
Hampshire Police issued a statement saying: "Our priority is to maintain public safety in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and these are perfectly legitimate actions being used by forces across the country."

Waltham Forest Council in London has established a two-hour David Beckham walking tour, taking in his birthplace of Whipps Cross Hospital, his first home, a park where he played football with his father and Walthamstow Stadium, where he earned pocket money collecting glasses during greyhound meetings.
