A black man was knocked unconscious after he was attacked in a Dartmouth Park pub. The 38-year-old victim had to be taken to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead after an argument with an Asian drinker who was sitting near him outside the Bull and Last pub in Highgate Road. The victim, who had been drinking for a few hours, told the Asian man and another man with him to control their dogs after they became restless. Booming sales of "dead" cats made from real fur are infuriating animal lovers who believe they encourage cruelty.
