Benny, an apparently lifeless hamster handed in at a veterinary surgery in Sedgeley, West Midlands, for cremation, was reunited with its owners after staff noticed that he was hibernating. Vets urged other owners to make sure a pet was dead before burying it. - Times (Derek Morgan)
