A football fan has been banned from all England matches after throwing a wine gum.
The supporter, 27, pleaded guilty to the offence at the Nottingham Forest v Manchester City game.
His solicitor said: "It was a very small object. He has never been in conflict with the law before. He is extremely shamed." - Nottingham Evening Post (Derek Morgan)

Police were called to a house in Bath after a man assaulted his wife during the England match.
It was alleged he assaulted her after she began singing England football songs during the match and refused to stop.
He asked her four times to stop and then assaulted her. The man was later released without charge. - Bath Chronicle (Frances Harvey)
