A British Muslim schoolgirl said yesterday that she felt suicidal after a German family she was staying with on an exchange trip subjected her to racial abuse including monkey chants and Tarzan calls.
But the headmaster of Walker School, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where Aysha Hook is a prizewinning pupil, cast doubt on her claims by saying she looked "effectively white" and as if she had a mild suntan. - Guardian (David Browning)
Surgeon John Lennox lashed out at Mark Kirtley, telling him "not to be so fucking stupid".
