A plan by the Greenhead millennium committee to mark the advent of the year 2000 by burying a time capsule in the school grounds jogged some memories in the village.
Hadn't a similar time capsule been buried in the school grounds some years ago? The consensus was that it had - but no one can remember where.
The committee is hoping that anyone who knows where the capsule is buried will contact them. - Hexham Courant (Betty Logan)
